Peak Group AS consist of the following companies: Peak Project Carriers AS, Peak Logistics AS, Peak Germany GmbH, Peak Shipowning AS, K2 Project Forwarding AS, Peak Marine Tech AS, Fjeld Consultant AS, Skarv Shipping Solutions AS.
Who we are
Established autumn 2005, Peak Group with its team based in Bergen in Norway, currently operate 20 dry cargo, project and selfdischarging vessels in sizes ranging from 1000 dwt to 6000 dwt. The fleet consists of modern, fully boxed tonnage suitable for carrying generals, project cargoes, and all major bulk commodities including IMO-classified cargoes.

Peak Group consists of a group of companies that in addition to the shipping services mentioned above also provide marine survey and engineering, design and production of deck equipment, redesign and modification projects. K2 Project Forwarding, a Peak Group company, offer services for development, planning and execution of turnkey projects, international freight forwarding, third-party (3PL) logistics and supply chain management. In 2022 Skarv Shipping Solutions, a joint venture with Grieg Edge, was established with the purpose of developing zero emission vessels for the short sea market.

Abot the Transparency Act

The Norwegian Transparency act entered into action July 1st 2022, and it is mandatory for companies exceeding a certain size to report on their work for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services. In addtion information about this work shall be accessible to the public.

Peak Group has a compliance program consisting of our policies (code of conduct), procedures for risk assessment/due dilligence, organizational responsibilities, training, communication lines, audits and reporting. We have made an own supplier code of conduct that all of our suppliers must adhere to. Our ethical guidelines are reviewed every year for updates and approved by the Board of Directors.

Peak Group has made a report for 2022 containing information about the company, about the due dilligence process, actions to reduce negative impact on human rights. All in accordance with OECD Due Diligence guidance for responsible business conduct.

Supply Chain and Business Partners

Peak Group has a large number of suppliers in it's supply chain. It differs between the companies in the group on how much services that is purchased, the geographical distribution of the suppliers, and if it is both services and products that is purchased.

Analysis done following the Transparency Act, most of the suppliers is located in Norway (41%) and Northern Europe. Peak Group has a long relationship with most of its suppliers.

Peak Group Report 2022

Peak Group has evaluated all processes, policies and templates related to ethical guidelines and supplier follow up. Further, we are continuously mapping our suppliers and business partners with regards to geographical and social risk in addition to corruption risk. Our findings and our measures for how to cease, prevent and adverse impacts is a part of Peak Group’s report for 2022.
